Backlight Item Change and Pre-modded GBs Up in the Shop
Couple changes and updates today in the shop. First off, we are making two separate items for backlights depending if you want to put one in a Pocket or backlight an Original DMG. Because the resistors are different, and we don't want to have you get the wrong one, we are making it fool-proof. Plus, our next version will be like that as well, one for Pocket, one for DMG, so we are getting you used to it early;) if you have any questions about the change!
We have added some pre-modded DMGs to the GameBoy section of the shop, if you want a working GB but don't want to wait for the custom modding. They are heavily discounted because they previously belonged to Nonfinite and were modded with our version 2 backlight, which means the original power LED has been removed. Feel free to pick up a new one and install it, if you so choose:) Paint done by Nonfinite, and these guys have been through some awesome concerts, including Pulsewave and BRKfest! That's some damn good GameBoy mojo.
The Ultimate DMG Give-away, and Artists Needed!
We have been feeling ultra creative lately. Who knows why, it must be the mid-winter blahs. But we are going to give away the Ultimate Modded Original GameBoy, and . What would be in your ultimate DMG? What color backlight, which prosound, any switches, colored case? You tell us and we'll take the most requested modifications and make an incredibly awesome GameBoy. Then we'll give it away. We might make it fun, like you might have to write me a love song using LSDJ or Nanoloop, so stay tuned for more details. And don't forget to what you want to see on the GameBoy!
Also, we are looking for some commissioned artists to design some custom cases for us. It doesn't have to be painted, some of our favorite cases were actually drawn with Sharpie markers! If you are interested send us a sample of your work and we might pick you to be a NonElec Case Designer. Please us if you are interested or know someone who might be interested.
