The Trade In option is available for those who would like to trade their unmodified Game Boys and Colors in GOOD CONDITION for either cash (payment made via paypal) or in-store credit. Trade-in credit will not be processed until your unit is received and appraised.
You MAY trade in a gray unit for a colored unit or a colored unit for a gray, or game boy colors for a modified original, etc. Just be aware that the prices differ for these options. For example, if you purchase a Gray unit for $90 and trade in a black unit of your own IN GOOD CONDITION, you will be billed $70 + shipping for your premodified DMG.
A unit in GOOD CONDITION does NOT have scratches in the plastic case, has it's original battery cover, all buttons and switches are fully functional, etc. Damaged units and units considered to be in bad condition will be returned, and no credit will be offered.
